2009 Season Honors:

Head Coach Alex Cade, Coach of the Year

Alumni Award presented to a senior player with a love of the game and community – Daniel Nevitt
Islander Sports Foundation Award for Integrity, Sportsmanship and Friendship – John Waickwicz
Coaches’ Award – Ian McRae
Defenders of the Year – Daniel Nevitt and Jonathan Little
Midfielder of the Year – Jackson Cusick
Attack Man of the Year – Bobby Braun
Team MVP – Jonny Poe


Only eight players in all of San Diego County were named as Lacrosse All Americans and three were from the Islander program – seniors Bobby Braun, Jonny Poe and junior Kodie Englehart.

City Conference Second Team: Eddie Vita, Jonathan Little, and Kodie Englehart. 
City Conference Player of the Year:  Jonny Poe

Coronado was the undefeated champion of the City Conference.

The Coronado High School boys varsity and J.V. teams are members of the CIF San Diego Section, City Conference.

The Islanders are the 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 City Conference Champions and 2009 CIF San Diego Section Champions.  The Islanders have lost only one conference game since it's establishment as a CIF sport.
